- Supporting Young Unemployed People into Employment
The Ballymun pilot Youth Guarantee is a new approach to tackling youth unemployment. All of the key players – public employment services, employers and trade unions, education and training providers, local development and youth organisations have come together to help you to get a job, or, at the very least, to improve your job prospects by better preparing you for work.
It is available to all ‘Unemployed’ 18-24 year olds who are ‘signing-on’ at Ballymun Department of Social Protection Intreo Centre (formerly Social Welfare Local Office). Find out how you can benefit here
AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE YOUR SAY
The pilot will run until September 2014. You will have an opportunity to have a say in how the new service worked for you and to make suggestions about how it might be improved. In that way, your experience will help in the design of future programmes for other young people.
The Ballymun Youth Guarantee is co-funded by the European Union and the Irish Government
